Talk about making an entrance! Kicking off Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week never looked so good! The NUMBER:Lab, designed by Luis Fernandez, S/S 12 show opened with a few models skateboarding their way onto the front end of the runway, which threw off the crowd a little since we were all looking in the other direction. But, the models resumed to their regular order and they all looked damn good doing it.
The looks were casual cool while mixing blazers with swim trunks giving the feeling of mixing “business with pleasure” is very welcomed state of dress and mind. They added soft nautical monochromatic blues and blended the right touch of contrasting neon hues and geometric prints, which were part of two a special collaborations; Joseph La Piana with NUMBER:Lab and STUBBS & WOOTTON for NUMBER:Lab.
