Monique Lhuillier, a go-to designer for wedding and red-carpet gowns, showcased a number of swoon-worthy dresses infused with a romantic, Old Hollywood vibe. The collection featured lots of black with pops of brilliant red.
Models glided down the runway in structured suits and billowing gowns in black, ombre and deep scarlet. Scarlet seems to be a popular color for upcoming fall and will be a welcome relief amongst all the sea of dark fall colors.
Lhuillier played maximum on her sensual concepts, playing with texture using vibrant color palette. The gowns are all contenders for the Oscars and are sure winners. (photo credit: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week)
