Oui! Oui! J’adore la collection! Shown in a raw loft space in Midtown Manhattan, Catherine Malandrino took a trip to Paris for fall 2011. The 70s-inspired collection featured wide leg pants, flowing dresses and oodles of texture.
With a series of luxe Parisian chic looks, elongated jackets and coats came in luxurious variations of wool, furs and leather. Night and day subtle mélange of chiffon blouses, men’s inspired trousers, fishnet embroidered dresses and sun-pleated skirts contrasts with basket-weave leather oxford heels.
There was no shortage of fur and leather, as well as intricate macrame detailing. The graphic jewel tone palette consisted of emerald green, royal blue, ruby red and deep purple.
