Tuxedos are not just for men, as Ruffian effortlessly and perfectly proved in their fall 2011 collection. Cropped patent leather smoking jackets, high waisted satin trousers, and tucked in white silk charmeuse blouses graced the runway.
The contrast of the rich jewel color and voluminous ruffles to the crisp ivory silk trousers and lace shirt certainly caught my eye. This collection was rich in proper English details, such as the pompadours hairstyle and high ruffle necklines. These only added to the elegance and sophistication of the lace cocktail dresses and velvet gowns at the end of the collection.
Overall, the collection was stunning from start to finish, and the Prince of Wales would have been very proud.
