Tadashi Shoji perfectly married minimalism and ultra-feminine style in his fall/winter line by using one tone colored dresses in subtle jewel colors and neutrals such as nude, black, and white then adding details such as fringe and flowers, flattering rouching and belts at the waist.

Tadashi also managed to bring back the one sleeve trend with a bang! Silk crepe draped dresses with one-shoulder or one sleeve, asymmetrical stretch wool jersey with a feather trim, around the neck and one-shoulder embroidered lace dresses graced the runway, each one being more beautiful than the next!
All of them were red carpet worthy and worthy of being in my closet. My personal fav? A navy organza gown with little organza flowers covering it. It was truly breathtaking. Well done, Tadashi! (photo credit: Tafari K. Stevenson-Howard)
