Diego Binetti is known for his innovative, thought provoking designs and the same rules applied for his Fall/Winter 2011 presentation. Binetti’s line took us through a vintage glamorous safari, and I didn’t keep my hands and feet in the vehicle at all times!
Ostrich feather fringe, shimmering silk chiffon beaded blouses, and floral sequined skirts made for a killer show. Just as impressive were the accessories! One model was carrying a black tusk purse that was to die for, and all the girls were rocking chiffon turbans—perfect for the African heat.
The detail on the jacquard dresses and silk trousers were just impeccable, and the glitter floral detail on the silk skirt looked hand done. Binetti never ceases to amaze me. This is definitely a designer to keep your eye on!
