Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week: Farah Angsana F/W 2011

Farah Angsana is officially the one to watch out for. Her collection for Fall/Winter 2011 featured stunning gowns, masquerade masks, and some fur – a dangerously amazing combination. The collection did exactly what it was intended to do: wow the audience. Pieces featured range from long flowing gowns, to little cocktail dresses, and literally everything in between – making this collection one of the most appealing to potential buyers.

The collection featured some simple pieces, but wowed you with the amazing tailoring, and the addition of a fur scarf. Pieces like the cocktail dress normally would be qualified as a simple look, but Farah turned that notion upside down with the crystal embellishments and the one sleeve.

The collection ended on a high note with this white silk crystal encrusted gown, which featured feathers and ruffles – a look that had attendees of the runway show clapping as it walked the runway.

Farah Angsana made one thing clear with this collection: she isn’t messing around. She proved she can play with the big ones. She made a statement, and she got everyone’s attention. Now we will continue to monitor her career closely because we would be truly surprised if some of these gowns were not featured on the red carpet this year.
