There’s something inside all of us girls that gravitates towards that grungy, “up-to-no-good” bad boy. What a world it would be if these bad boys knew how to dress, and better yet, set trends and dressed in such a premier way it took us by complete surprise. Ladies, we’ve met our match.

Eric Kim of Mik Cire has answered our prayers with his spring 2011 collection. Combining severe masculinity with high fashion looks is tough to achieve, but in this line we see that it is ever so possible. Each piece was well crafted and thought out, showing the importance of it in the overall look. Blacks and whites served as the foundation colors, as greens and tans added more substance.
A major theme was layering in this collection. Almost every look incorporated a top, a bottom and some type of over piece, such as a blazer or knit cardigan. We see bad boy basics, like tees and plain pants and leather jackets taken to a whole new level. This was one of my favorite shows of all Fashion Week this year. Bravo, Mr. Kim!
