Classic elegance at its finest – that is Ports 1961. Fiona Cibani, designer behind the stunning spring collection, was inspired by the free spirit of a global traveler.

The clothing exuded a harmonious balance of sophistication and care free emotion. The color palette itself was extraordinary with flawless creams and tans, along with punches of royal purples, greens and blues. I couldn’t help but feel the warm sun and hear spanish tunes as the models strutted the runway.
Yes, the Ports 1961 collection literally took me to another world as I envisioned myself enjoying a relaxing vacation in glorious Spain. There were dresses designed for an elegant dinner out or perhaps a wine tasting, and then there were dresses that seemed to flow with the wind, perfect for a romantic, night walk on the beach. For day looks, the designer experimented with many ensembles including; shorts, tops, casual dresses, pants and knits and more.
The fabrics were noticeably angelic, creating a sense of heavenly perfection. The satins and taffetas caught my eye, as well as the sparkle and shimmer embedded in many of the others. Ports 1961 was a elegant Spanish experience this season. I wouldn’t be surprised if a few red carpet looks are born from this collection.
