I’m a huuuge fan of anything and everything black and white so naturally, I fell in love with Jill Stuart’s Spring 2011 collection. It was comparable to a Chanel line, focusing specifically on the basic beauty of stark colors and brilliant silhouettes. There was a bit of patterned fabrics thrown in every so often, and a few pale yellows throughout the bunch, but besides that–everything was uniform and clean.
Femininity was a reoccurring theme, as many of the pieces were intricately decorated with extra fabric. Frills, jewel accents, bow ties, lace and rouging all contributed to the overall timelessness of the collection.
Celeb fans sitting front row included Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Brad Goreski (Rachel Zoe), Nigel Barker (ANTM), Kristin Cavallari (The Hills) and Roxy Olin (The City).
