Not only can she make delicious handbags, but she’s quite the master of apparel and other accessories as well. Rebecca Minkoff, iconically recognized for her Morning After Bag, released her Spring/Summer 2011 Collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York.
The clothing was perfectly fit for a young, trendsetter female living in an urban city. With varying fabrics such as cotton, jersey, leather and even some tweed, Minkoff beautifully displayed her versatile line. Most looks were styled for daytime wear, casual with an edgy touch. I saw simple cocktail dresses paired with blazers, shorts and fun tops and even a few long pant options. On top of the apparel, Minkoff, had wonderful new accessories to show off. Classic pumps with a bit more sass, leather totes with intricate detail, layered hipster necklaces – she had it all!
Overall, everything was extremely wearable but still trendy and fresh. I think any piece from this collection is essential for a young, fabulous fashionista. (photo credit: Shelby Davis)
