The final red carpet of award season — the 82nd Annual Academy Awards — just wrapped up. Check out my red carpet best and worst dressed looks:
BEST DRESSED
Now, this is the Cameron Diaz that I miss! Very reminiscent of her character in The Mask – old Hollywood glam. Cameron wore an Oscar de la Renta gown with tons of sequins and sparkles.
One question: Does Demi Moore age? Like, seriously? She wore a dusty rose, silk organza Versace gown. She looked absolutely stunning and this pick was fave of the evening.
One thing for sure, Queen Latifah knows how to dress her body, and this color is perfect on her. She looked gorgeous in this one-shoulder, lilac Badgley Mischka dress.
Kate Winslet wore a stunning strapless Yves Saint Laurent dress paired with a $2.5 million yellow diamond necklace by Tiffany & Co.
Don’t judge me, but I thought Miley Cyrus rocked this gorgeous, champagne colored Jenny Packham gown. This is the first and last time Miley will be mentioned on The NYLA Report.
WORST DRESSED
Why Zoe Saldana?! Zoe looked like a centerpiece party decoration. She wore a dramatic Givenchy Haute Couture confection. The top half was beautiful, and the bottom half — not so much.
Smh at Charlize Theron. This Dior Couture piece is highlighting her boobs in a cinnamon-bun-type-of-way.
Sarah Jessica Parker wore a Chanel Couture piece. The dress looked frumpy and very unfaltering. By the way, she’s not aging well.
Nicole Richie was going for the vintage look, but I wasn’t feeling it. This heavily-embellished, Reem Acra gown added an extra 10 years of age to her.
WTF Vera Farmiga? This Marchesa magenta fan dress was a bit too much. The only thing missing was a bad perm and side ponytail.

I totally agree! Sarah Jessica Parker’s makeup artist needs to be fired and Demi Moore looked wonderful! I could not believe that Miley Cyrus got it right for once in her short life – there is hope.
