Red hot pants? Check. Patent leather shorts? Check. Reptile and futuristic dresses? Check.
Greek Designer, Vassilios Kostetsos gave a whole new meaning to the runway for his unique collection. Unlike many shows this season, there was an element of futuristic styled garments. Calling his collection “Eros Anikate Mahan,” Kostetsos found inspiration from Sophocles’ 442 BC drama, “Antigony”.
From fabulous dresses with snake skin panels, trench coats with patent leather corset belts, he used different textures and fabrics in bold colors to embraced lux details of the designs. Not every look is suitable to wear off the runway, but his show was certainly memorable and entertaining.
